German language

German is taught as a second foreign language during the whole period of study. At the end, students can take a ZD (Zertifikat Deutsch) certificate. The lessons take place in language rooms equipped with modern didactic technology. Numerous projects and events are also included.

For many years, we have been cooperating with DůmEvropy in Prague, and senior students attend an international students´ seminar in Bad Marienberg, Germany.

Every year, we hold an excursion to Vienna and a number of competitions (conversation, recitation and pronunciation). Our students are also engaged in an international project, Das Bild der Anderen.

Junior students can attend the German Language Group.

Once in four years, students can take part in a foreign excursion to a German speaking country.

The tuition is completed by native speakers, who work at our school thanks to our cooperation with Ostrava University.
