Civics

The subject is taught during the whole period of study (senior eight-year- course students and four-year-course students).

During lessons, modern forms and methods are used; instructional films, special excursions and lectures are also included.

We offer a seminar of Civics to extend students´ knowledge.

The Civics board regularly organizes a current issues presentation competition for junior students and primary school students. It encourages senior students to take part in social science competitions and SOČ projects.

We also encourage our students to be active citizens by taking part in People in Need (Člověk v tísni) or Jeden svět na školách activities and projects.
